Cable & Pipe Locators (CPL) is an owner operator business, managed by Wal O’Neill based in Wanaka, servicing the Central Otago and Queenstown Lakes District.
“At CPL, we have identified a gap in the underground utility locating services market across the region, affecting both commercial and private clients. While large locator service operators have been able to meet local demand in some cases, there remains a significant need for more local specialized and accessible solutions.”
Before establishing CPL, Wal gained extensive International experience in consulting and managing operations within the offshore oil and gas exploration industry.”
“Wal holds a B|Eng in Mechanical Engineering and a B|Appl in Project Management, making him well qualified and experienced in the technical aspects of sub-surface underground scanning and utility location.”
